Macro-Finance Research Initiative
The primary goal of RIEF’s Macro-Finance Research Initiative is to support research in topics that belongs to the interception between macroeconomics and finance. Macro-finance is a broad field focus on the interception between macroeconomics and corporate finance and asset pricing.
Directors
Director – Antony Anyosa
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at Wharton. My research interests are in the intersection of Macroeconomics and Finance and, in general, between empirics and theory.
Director – Marco Ortiz
He has a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master in Research in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (England). He specializes in topics related to macroeconomic theory, and monetary and exchange rate policy.
Research Associate
Research Associate – Rafael Nivin
I have a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research interests are Macroeconomics, Finance, and Econometrics.
Research Associate – Hamilton Galindo
I have a Ph.D. in Finance from Arizona State University. My research is at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance, with a special focus on monetary policy and corporate finance, the links between financial markets and macroeconomics, and the investment of heterogeneous firms.
