This is the 5th version of the Summer School since we started in 2019!
We are so excited and thankful to everyone who makes this possible. The SSEF 2023 comes with excellent news:

Additionally, we will start the SSEF 2023 with a Boot Camp! This training program will provide math and software tools to succeed in the regular program of the SSEF 2023. The Boot Camp is an intensive program that will teach the use of Matlab, R, Python, and Stata programs by leading RIEF research assistants.

Program
The Boot Camp is a 48-hour training program that provides mathematical and software tools to succeed in the regular SSEF 2023 program. This will be taught by leading RIEF Research Assistants (RAs).

Application Process
- WHO CAN APPLY?
Application is open to any student from Economic Engineering, Statistical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, and related fields. Applicants can be from private or public universities in Latin America. Knowledge in fundamental finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and mathematics courses is a prerequisite. Likewise, since reading and class material would be in English, it is highly recommended that participants have an intermediate-advanced level of English.

The steps to apply are as follows:

You will find the minimum requirements and documents to submit by entering your respective category to apply.

It is recommended to have your documents before filling in the form for your category. Your application will be automatically disqualified if it does not match your documents.

When filling out the form, your pre-registration confirmation will arrive in your email within 24 hours. In that email, you will find the structure of how you should send your documents and also how your recommender (professor or boss) should send his/her recommendation email.

When your professor or boss confirms that he/she sent the email that nominates you, you must send your documents to the email of rief@ri-ef.com.

October 26-28, 2022 Confirmation of the minimum requirements. On October 29, we will email you confirming whether you have been qualified to enter the 3rd phase (The Exam). |
3rd PHASE THE EXAM: |
November 20, 2022: Applicants will take the Exam On October 30, we will send 3 papers, which you must study. The exam will be based on those papers and be virtual. |
4th PHASE FINAL RESULTS: |
November 25, 2021 We will email you to confirm if you obtained admission with a full scholarship or not at the Summer School 2023. |
